This was our submission to the 7-day shootout competition, part of the Knoxville Film Festival. We had an absolute BLAST putting this film together. For those who have never heard, the 7-day shootout is (as the name implies) a film competition where you have 7 days to write, shoot, and edit a film from scratch. Competitors are given three elements and a genre, and must write within those guidelines to create a 4-7 minute short film. Ours was survival. The elements each filmmaker had to use were an apple, a rope, and a pencil - see if you can find them ;) We took HEAVY inspiration from 1917 for this short, giving it a nice 1-shot feel. Two soldiers on the run from the enemy find themselves lost and forced to seek cover in a house less-than-suitable for inhabitants and quickly discover something isn't quite right... I'm thrilled to get to show my latest film, Brothers in Arms! This was a project we worked on in secret earlier this year and it was an absolute blast getting to shoot something like this. Growing up watching Christopher Nolan movies really led Josh and I into this idea. I've genuinely never heard of or seen a WWII thriller film in my life, so getting to create this was a great time. WATCH THIS AGAIN. I'm completely serious. This film was designed to (hopefully) make you go "Wait... what? no... I never saw that coming..." and go back to try to catch it. We packed as many details as we could into this one, so pay attention to EVERYTHING on the screen from the beginning to the end!

When thousands of individuals mysteriously go missing, the public is left in fear and in panic as the looming thought of "am I next?" plagues the East Coast. Derrick soon finds himself at the front end of that question when he's ripped out of his sleep in the middle of a war he clearly isn't prepared for. Lost and confused, he begins to realize the reason behind the disappearances and what it really means to be Drafted. We are SO thrilled to finally get to share DRAFTED with the world FOR FREE!! At the beginning of 2021, I wrote, directed, shot, and edited this documentary for a local non-profit food pantry called The Lord's Child. The film showcases the behind-the-scenes process through which the organization acquires their food they give out each and every week.

The classic story of Christmas from the perspective of the Innkeeper.

A man lives in solitude for 93 days, hunting, gathering, and surviving, trying to figure out the mysteries of the world he's been left in when an unexpected visitor arrives. This short film was shot way back at the beginning of 2021 in the early days of January. It took quite some time to get it finished and when we wrapped the editing, it took even longer to get it out there. Here we are in the summer of 2022 and we are finally releasing it to the public after several back and forth debates on it. We truly hope you all enjoy this film and all that the mysteries it has to offer!
